Founded in 2011, Vertes Modern is opening a new chapter in the history of the gallery. Vertes Modern consistently shows contemporary, young art. The Vertes family continues to expand their decades-long expertise and activity within the current trends and positions in the visual arts. To have one’s finger on the pulse of the time, detecting new trends and showing the art of tomorrow have been the old and new strengths of the gallery.
The goals of Vertes Modern are distinctly described: "Our mission is to preserve, to collect, to exhibit, to offer and to market works of art on the highest possible level and to support young collectors". Young art – young gallerists! Vertes Modern dedicates itself to young art with personal commitment. Together with the artists Vertes Modern designs and curates solo and group exhibitions. The 180 square meter gallery at Bahnhofstrasse 16 in Zurich is one of the best addresses any art collector could visit, and is a meeting point for people interested in art and for the young protagonists of the art scene.
Both internationally known as well as young upcoming artists are represented by Vertes Modern, such as Alireza Abri, Massimo Agostinelli, Banksy, CAN2, Louis Carreon, Stanley Casselman, Daniel Dens, Erro, Robert Mars, Alec Monopoly, George Morton Clark, Stefan Rüesch and Russel Young.
